A Published Essay on the Commercial Press of China

In honor of the founder of Fudan University, Priest Xiangbo Ma, I wrote an essay named《浅论近代商务印书馆的经营之道》, which investigated the history of The Commercial Press of China and its relation to the university’s founder.

The essay is collected and published in a book (ISBN: 9787309138153) named 《博学杯·2016—2017：海上的记忆与寻踪》, via Fudan University Press.

This research is guided (also partially funded, maybe) by my dad. He is very proud and happy with this work.

One of the next steps I would like to do on East Asian history research is to use generative models to revive the dead Tangut_language. If you are interested in developing deep learning for non-alphabet-based languages like the one in this file, please reach out to me.
